Arthur W. Hall (1889-1981)

Arthur Hall was born in Bowie, TX and died in Albuquerque, NM. He is best known for his landscape drypoint etchings of the Southwest and was most noted as a landscape etcher and painter. He studied at AIC. His exhibits were noted at AIC, 1917; Kansas City AI, 1929 (prize), 1932 (prize), 1933 (prize); Calif. PM, 1930 (prize); SAE (prize); SAGA. Arthur Hall was a member of SAE; Southern PM; SAGA; Chicago SE; Calif. PM; Prairie PM; Chicago Gal. Assn. Important work was at AIC; Smithsonian Inst.; LOC; Calif.
